    AN EXCELLENT M1909 ORIGINAL IMPERIAL RUSSIAN OFFICER’S SWORD
    This Imperial Russian officer’s sword is very clean and is complete with its original leather covered wooden scabbard (see photos). The sword measures overall 36 inches.
    On one side of the blade and the pommel of the saber has Imperial monogram ” N II “, The other side of the blade engraved with Double headed eagle. The blade near cross – guard hallmarked ” ПШ ” . On a spine of the blade engraved Cyrillic ” Zlatoust Arms Factory “.
    The brass mounted leather covered wooden scabbard remains solid/complete overall (see photos). The scabbard’s dark leather covering remains mostly intact. All three brass fittings to the scabbard remain attached and have a nice aged patina.You won't be able to find such a sword in the best best condition.
