    Description

    I made this picnic quilt a few years ago. It is new and unused. I always sketch the patterns out and have to figure out how big to cut the pieces, right, so I aim for 60 x 80" because that's the size of the top of a queen size bed, this is actually 56" by 86". it's all cotton. natural cotton on the back. quality work, I am a professional seamstress and use Gutterman thread. (the best.) this is the first and only time this has been layed in the grass. you can see the size by the yardstick I laid by it. The pretty pink floral was an 80's dress. The only thing wrong with it, is part of the edge is wavy. I pulled on it too much when I sewed the edge strip on. (maybe I was drinkin', I don't know.) ;-)   The little quilt I have in my car I have used as a seat cushion, a jacket, a picnic blanket, and a towel (at the lake.) this is OOAK one of a kind. probably took two weeks to make. there won't be another like it. (I have two on ebay.)
