    Description

This bullet-scarred Book saved the life of a WWI soldier! A horrific memento from Kerensky Offensive (also commonly known as the July Offensive, 1917) A Book marked with bullet holes from a German machine gun helped save the life of a russian soldier, his great-grandson has explained. The Book belonged to Roman Popov, a private soldier with the Russian imperial army. The enemy machine gunner opened fire but hit the Book, which Roman Popov always carried in the backpack. "He said the Book saved his life as it took the brunt of the attack," said his great-grandson. ...and was slightly wounded! This is a real family heirloom with horrible and amazing energy!
