Part # 904-805
The Dorman 904-805 Vacuum Pump for your 1996-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke is a 100% new, not remanufactured vacuum pump. Since they are new, they do not contain any used components that could lead to premature failure. Most premature failures occur with the bearing. A bearing failure will prevent the pump from producing vacuum. Depending on the vehicle, this may result in a loss of vent or temperature control inside the cabin, impaired or partial loss of braking or 4WD. Dorman has re-engineered the original needle bearing on the CAM which seizes, causing pump failure.

We do our absolute best to ship orders the same day when placed before 2:00 PM CST, when not on backorder from the manufacturer. Our shipping department uses USPS, UPS and/or Fed EX. We do offer expedited shipping options. We ship only to PayPal confirmed shipping addresses. Additional shipping charges may apply when shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or any US Territory. Orders shipping internationally or to a PO Box may be cancelled at our discretion. Any item we over 0.00 USD, may be shipped with signature confirmation required. Please inspect all purchases upon arrival and notify us immediately of any parts damaged in transit as soon as possible. You are required to notify us within 5 days of receipt of any damaged parts. Re-shipment of items damaged in transit will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Shippers require the original packaging and/or pictures. By purchasing from us, you the buyer acknowledges this and will assist us with any damaged in-transit carrier requirements. We ship from warehouses all over the country. This allows us to cut down transit times and get you the parts you ordered quicker. Your purchase will ship from the closest warehouse that has the part in stock and may come in several packages on different days. Please message us for faster shipping options, at an additional cost, if there is an urgent deadline required for your parts arrival. If a package is refused or you are not able to make delivery arrangements with the carrier, a 20% Restocking Fee will apply.
We do not ship Non-C.A.R.B. Compliant parts to the state of California and we reserve the right to cancel any order requesting us to do so.
eBay Global Shipping Program:
We only ship outside the United States of America using eBay’s Global Shipping Program. We do not control their shipping charges, nor their in-transit times. Shipments made through the eBay’s Global Shipping Program, can only be returned at the expense of the buyer. Global Shipping items are subject to our standard return policy.
RETURNS
All of the parts we sell are eligible to be returned.
All Electrical parts must be unopened and in the original sealed packaging.
All returns require an RGA# & must be requested within 30 days of purchase. Returns without a RGA# and/or beyond 30 days may be refused and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If an error is made on our part, we will cover the return shipment and re-shipment of the correct product. If you are returning an item on your own, package the product accordingly to prevent damage. If the product being returned is damaged, it is the buyer’s responsibility to handle the damage claim with the carrier he/she chose to ship with. Refunds are typically issued within 48 hours of being processed and may take 3-5 business days to post to your account.
Cores:
Core returns are to be returned within 45 days of receipt of your product. Cores must be returned in the original manufacturer packaging they came in to receive full core credit. Buyers are responsible for paying to ship cores back to us or the parts corresponding warehouse. Return labels are available upon request and can be provided. If a core label is requested, the shipping cost will be deducted from the core refund amount. As mentioned in the Returns Section, cores are expensive so please insure them accordingly and protect them from damage in transit.
WARRANTY
Warranty replacement parts are to be returned to us at the expense of the buyer. We cover the ONLY part(s) the parts we sell. We do not cover shipping, towing or repair fees. Parts submitted for warranty replacement must be inspected by our staff. Warranty replacement part(s) will ship within 24-48 hours of us receiving the defective part.
If this is not acceptable, we recommend purchasing a new part from us to replace the part being submitted for warranty. Once the warranty & inspection process is complete, then we will refund the original transaction.
